I didn’t take pictures of all the pieces that won. Not all the pieces that I thought were exceptional got awards. I’m posting this so you can see what I missed. This doesn’t mean I’m shutting up. This is bonus.

    The first link is EVERYTHING.

They put all the winners from every year on the same page. If you keep scrolling down, you will wander into earlier years’ winning pieces.

There were a couple of announcements at the Champagne Toast Saturday evening. These artists got after-the-festival exhibitions from other places, not-ArtFields. How cool is that that other places are coming to ArtFields to find talent?

It was really cool seeing how it is all celebrated. I loved being With The Band.

    plants

Remember I said I didn’t plant the standard Southern red, white and pink? This is one of our other azaleas. It is still small. But, it’s a year younger than the yellow one. And may be younger than that since I have no idea how old it was before I bought it.

We saw this one, ‘Gibralter’, at Reynolda House in the Spring of 2019 and were both taken with it. I asked one of the groundskeepers if she knew its name and she looked for the person who knew to find out for me. They didn’t have any for sale. But, I was able to find one online.

It’s not lush. But, it’s not dead yet, either. So, I have hope.

They just finished their 2nd practical session of the welding course at York Tech in South Carolina. This was their final project for the session.

It has an attached stand and can balance on the leaf.

    Welding is their happy place.

Edit: Not the leaf. The stand.
