The way to tell is that I have painted my fingernails. The gloves I need to wear at work absolutely destroy a manicure. So, I save fancy nails for not-working.

And, so you know, I am so vain, I wear my outfit into the store to pick out nail color so that I know it matches.

Since I need both red and pink for this week and each would clash if I was wearing the color that goes with the other, I have gone for iridescent. No one that knows me well is surprised by that choice.

It is kind of pink though.

Last year’s shades were OPI Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie and Big Apple Red.

They were perfect shades for the season and OPI holds up well for me. But, I wanted more all-purpose for this week.

I expect that when I’m retired, it will still be a sign of being on vacation. I’m hard on my hands.

In my next life, I want the job of choosing names for cosmetics. They have so too much fun.
