I noticed me in a mirror yesterday and thought “That’s not what I think of when I envision my own body. I know I have thinner lips, wrinkles, crepey skin and grey hair. But, that isn’t the body my mind thinks of me wearing.” I think the body I expect was 44 years old.
My grandmother once told me she was always surprised by the old woman she kept seeing in the mirror. Her warning may have kept me from being as surprised by this as I might have been.
I have a coworker who has great fun playing with her hair color.
She checked in with me when she got to work, nervous that this was too bright. I think the little pop of yellow makes it work.
I tried to take a picture of a hatched tadpole. But, the reflection on the water prohibited that.
I did find 3 new clutches on a lily pad though.
You’ll be surprised to see how fast they change.
One year, I did a picture-a-day project and I liked it. I finished my personal commitment and stopped. I want to do that again.
