The Autumn fern is looking pretty rough becauses it never really died back. So, it kind of has frostbite. But, it’s healthy and will look better in a month or 2.
The Japanese painted fern has come up and is stunning. (If I can only ever have one, I’m keeping this one.)
The Cinnamon fern has started putting up fiddleheads. I look forward to showing it to you when it’s lush.
If you look past the pine pollen, you can see new leaves coming up.
It wasn’t there and then it was.
The green at the base is a lily growing next to it.
It’s HUGE!
It’s been coming back for years, ever since a bird popped a seed over there.
I don’t think this pink is much away from red.
I mean, really. Do you see much difference?

I swear talking trash inspires my plants to do better.
I have tulip leaves in a sorts of places. But, I didn’t bother planting any last Fall. So this is a surprise and a treat.
This one
has been coming back for over a decade. It bloomed for 4 or 5 years and finally gave that up.
I may try lifting it when the greenery starts to die back and if I can do anything with it for next year.
