In South Carolina.

This house is across the street from the entry to the parking lot of the lab where I work. They decorate it for every holiday. Halloween is one of their favorites.
I love these people and I don’t even know them.

I live in a fairly rural area. In spite of housing developments all around and working at a major medical facility, sometimes I am met by a herd of deer as I walk to my car. They never seem frightened of me. They have never run. They just watch. There were 7 tonight.

Baked banana pudding My mother’s recipe for banana pudding involves instant pudding mix and Kool-Whip. My husband thinks that it’s best when cooked with meringue. Today was my first attempt making it the old school way. Turned out pretty tasty.
