Crinum lilies in my front bed

I ordered a pair of crinum lily bulbs in January.  The order got misplaced and they didn’t get sent until I inquired about them.  They were very apologetic and my bulbs arrived yesterday. (I am taking a break from putting them in the ground.)

Crimums are slow growers. But, they eventually get tall.  They are deer and rabbit resistant according to Plant Delights Nursery. And they are scented.

Also? These bulbs are huge!

2 large and 2 small crinum bulbs with some yellow paint from the grower with some dirt scattered under them. A banana for scale.

One down.

The stem of the largest bulb poking out of mulch, blooming ice plants, not-blooming-yet dayflowers and a bag of mulch nearby.
