Chuck picked up a bottle of Hécula 2010 at CostCo.  @ $9/bottle.

I think this is the first time I’ve had 100% Monastrell wine.  Ususally it has been in blends and I understand why it gets used. This grape is Cabernet Lite.  Similar flavor, not as much body/mouth feel.  It isn’t bad alone, but it is a good ingredient to modify other grapes.
